Audiovox Corporation Announces Supply Agreement With Nissan Motor Corporation


    HAUPPAUGUE, N.Y.--Nov. 4, 1998--Audiovox Corporation (AMEX:VOX) today announced its mobile video "EZ Fit" center console entertainment system was chosen by Nissan Motor Corporation for inclusion as part of a promotion for Nissan's all-new 1999 4-door Quest minivan.
    Under the terms of the agreement, Audiovox will supply all purchasers of Nissan's 1999 Quest with its EZ Fit entertainment console, consisting of a 5-inch LCD TV and videocassette playback unit. Audiovox will ship its system directly to each purchaser, along with a free installation certificate redeemable at any of the nearly 500 Audiovox authorized Mobile video dealers.
    Commenting on the agreement, Patrick Lavelle, Sr. VP, Automotive Division, said, "We are pleased to have been chosen by Nissan Motor Corporation as its provider of mobile video entertainment systems. This agreement is indicative of the high quality product offering of our company as well as the aggressive sales and marketing programs we have initiated through the years.     Lavelle continued, "Mobile Video is the next great automobile option.
