Rizzo Appointed to Mercedes-Benz of North America

Rizzo Appointed Manager, Personal and Automotive Accessories for Mercedes-Benz of North America
    MONTVALE, N.J., Nov. 3 -- Mercedes-Benz of North America,
Inc. (MBNA) has announced the appointment of Glenn Rizzo to manager, personal
and automotive accessories, at the company's Montvale, N.J., headquarters.
    In his new position, Rizzo will report to Wade Hubbard, general manager of
parts, service and accessories and is responsible for overseeing all product
and marketing support for Mercedes-Benz personal and automotive accessories.
Rizzo joined MBNA in August, where he served for two months as manager,
wholesale parts marketing programs.
    Rizzo brings to MBNA 11 years of automotive marketing experience relating
to new vehicle parts, service and sales.  He began his automotive career in
1988 with Nissan Motor Company in Denver, Colo., where he held a number of
field positions in Nissan's south central and southern regions including
district parts sales and district service manager; service development
specialist; sales operations specialist; distribution analyst; and dealer
operations manager.  In 1997, Rizzo went to Nissan's corporate headquarters in
Los Angeles, Calif., as manager of financial products development, where he
coordinated and managed the development of all residual-based financing
programs.  He then became manager, Infiniti remarketing, overseeing related
national marketing and sales efforts.
    Rizzo began his professional marketing career working in the business
machines division for Canon U.S.A., Inc., from 1984-1987.
    Rizzo holds a B.S. degree in marketing from West Virginia University in
Morgantown, West Virginia.
    Originally from northern New Jersey, Rizzo resides in Warwick, New York
with his wife and two sons.
