Durakon Industries, Inc. Names New VP Automotive Sales
    LAPEER, Mich., Nov. 2 -- David W. Wright, President and CEO,
Durakon Industries, Inc. announced today that Mr. Larry
Sepanske has been appointed Vice President Automotive Sales.  In his new role,
Mr. Sepanske will lead Durakon's Automotive Sales activities for its Vehicle
Accessories Segment with OEM customers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
    Mr. Sepanske joined Durakon in 1997 to head its OEM sales effort with
General Motors Corporation, and later was promoted to Director of Automotive
Sales.  Prior to joining Durakon, Mr. Sepanske held a number of sales and
executive positions with Shelby Enterprises, Inc., Parker Amchem Division of
Henkel Corporation, and NOK Inc. Division NOK-Freudenburg.
    "Larry brought a strong track record of OEM accomplishments to Durakon,
and has been a major contributor to the success we have realized within the
automotive sector of our business," said David Wright.  "These successes and
his knowledge of the automotive industry make him well-suited to lead the
Automotive Sales activities."
    Mr. Sepanske graduated form Wayne State University in Industrial
Management and later joined the U.S. Army, becoming a Tank Command Officer.
Mr. Sepanske lives in West Bloomfield, Mich., with his wife and three
children.
