The award is given in recognition of outstanding leadership and achievement in the pursuit of manufacturing quality. Indiana Lt. Gov. Joseph E. Kernan presented the award to Debra Armstrong, quality manager of the Victor Reinz Valve Seals, L.L.C. manufacturing plant in Avilla, Ind. "Thanks for a job well done," said Kernan in making the award. "Please consider setting aside some time to celebrate your company's achievements and the influence you are having on the quality of life in the Hoosier state."
