Gov. Gary Locke Proclaims October Autobody Month
SEATTLE--Oct. 23, 1998--The Autobody Craftsman Association, a 20-year-old non-profit corporation, founded in the Tri-Cities of Pasco, Richland, North Richland and Kennewick, with membership in the greater Northwest, is pleased to announce that Gov. Gary Locke has proclaimed October as "Autobody Month."
The members of the Autobody Craftsman Association are collision repair specialists, representing the "creme de la creme" of the autobody repair industry. Today's technicians are true artisans, whose knowledge is broad based, requiring skills in math, electronics, communications, metallurgy and paint matching.
Working with tolerances of just 3 millimeters requires using state-of-the-art sophisticated equipment to insure that a car is returned to its pre-accident condition, which is to say, the specifications established by the manufacturers.
If the services of a collision repair specialist are needed, you are encouraged to contact a member of the Autobody Craftsman Association in your area.
For the name and number of a member facility in your area, contact the association office at 800/526-3792.
