Borg-Warner Automotive Automatic Transmission Systems' Frankfort, Illinois Facility Receives America's Best Plants Award From Industry WeekCHICAGO, Oct. 23 -- The 434 employees of Borg-Warner Automotive, Inc.'s Automatic Transmission Systems facility in Frankfort, Illinois, along with corporate, state and local officials, celebrated today the operation's selection by Industry Week magazine as one of America's Best Plants. The award is prestigious national recognition of the 10 facilities in the country that best exemplify excellence in manufacturing in a given year. Industry Week Associate Editor Jill Jusko made the presentation to Ron Ames, plant manager of the Frankfort facility since June 1998, and Kelis Thacker, plant manager from January 1998 through May 1998.
