Briggs & Stratton Announces Election of James E. Brenn as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

    MILWAUKEE, Oct. 21 -- Briggs & Stratton Corporation
announced today that its Board of Directors has elected James E.
Brenn to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Brenn had previously served as Vice President and Controller.
    The Company also announced that Todd J. Teske has been elected to fill the
position of Controller.
