    ATLANTA--(AutomotiveWire)--Oct. 21, 1998--Atlanta-based Colors on Parade has named two new executive officers, effective October 1st.
    Richard Jones has been named chairman and CEO and Jim Squire has been named president and COO of Total Car Franchising Corporation, the national franchisor of Colors on Parade.
    These changes "reflect a shift in the marketplace over the last several years," according to a letter sent to the Colors on Parade system by company founder Robert Lowery and his wife, Cathy. Leaders in on-site automotive resurfacing technology, the Colors on Parade system has more than 300 units operating coast-to-coast and is continually expanding into new markets.
    Rich Jones has a background as a business and financial advisor, working with several different organizations. As part of the Delta Group, Jones has consulted with organizations on all phases of business development from start-up to expansion. Jones has served as an advisor to Colors on Parade and a member of the Total Car Franchising Corporation Board since 1997.
    Jim Squire has been in franchising for more than 15 years. Having served as senior vice president of franchising for the Great American Cookie Company and group vice president and managing director of Arby's, Squire brings a lot of experience and expertise to Colors on Parade. A Certified Franchise Executive, Squire is also a board member of the International Franchise Association.
    Founded in 1988 by Robert Lowery, Colors on Parade franchisees use his breakthrough developments in automotive paint technology to repair minor scratches and dents without repainting the entire car. Colors on Parade franchisees offer additional services such as interior restoration, windshield repair and paint-free dent removal.
