Robert Cosmai Named Vice President of Sales At Hyundai Motor America

    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 21 -- Hyundai Motor America
announced today that Robert Cosmai has been named vice president of sales.
Cosmai will be responsible for all sales and dealer operations in the United
States market.
    Cosmai joins Hyundai from the Acura Division of American Honda Motor
Company where he was vice president of sales.
    "We're extremely pleased that Bob is joining the Hyundai team," said
Finbarr O'Neill, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Motor
America.  "Bob's proven record in sales will be a major asset for us as we
build on our recent growth in retail sales."
    Cosmai had previously worked for the Mazda Motor of America and Nissan
Motor Corporation in various sales positions.  He began his automotive career
with Ford Motor Company.
    Cosmai is married and resides in Mission Viejo, Calif.  He and his wife
have two daughters.
