TRW Increases Quarterly Dividend to 33 Cents

    CLEVELAND--Oct. 21, 1998--Directors of TRW Inc. today declared an increase of its quarterly dividend to 33 cents per share from the previous amount of 31 cents per share on the company's outstanding common stock.
    The directors also declared regular quarterly dividends of $1.100 per share on the Serial Preference Stock II (Series 1) and $1.125 per share on the Serial Preference Stock II (Series 3).
    The dividends are payable on December 15, 1998, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 13, 1998. It is the 241st consecutive dividend declared on the company's common shares.
