American Quantum Cycles Inc. Signs 1998 Indy Race League Champion Kenny Brack As Spokesman


    MELBOURNE, Fla.--Oct. 21, 1998--American Quantum Cycles Inc. (OTC BB:AMQC) today announced that it has signed 1998 Indy Race League Champion Kenny Brack as a Company spokesman.
    Brack secured the 1998 championship in the last race of the season held in Las Vegas on October 11, 1998. After qualifying 6th on October 10, 1998, it was discovered his engine block was cracked and had to have his engine replaced. Although there wasn't adequate time to properly test and calibrate the engine, Brack was still able to finish 10th and easily took the 1998 championship. He will be returning next year to the IRL series to defend his title. Kenny Brack was driving the American Quantum 1998 Liberty Cruiser model around the pit area at Las Vegas.
    Kenny Brack, a native of Sweden, drives for A.J. Foyt with sponsorship from Power Team. A.J. Foyt has won the Indianapolis 500 four times, won 67 Indy car races, a feat that has never been equaled. He is regarded as the greatest driver of the twentieth century. Power Team is the leading real-time energy supplier in the United States. Power Team sold more than 65 billion KWhs in 1997.
    Kenny Brack compiled an impressive history in Europe. His winning percentage was an impressive 47% accomplished on his way to winning the 1992 Renault Clio Scandinavian Championship and the 1993 Zerex Barber Saab Series Title. In 1996, Brack took 2nd place honors in Europe's prestigious and difficult Formula 3000 Championship leading the series with 3 wins. Brack began his Indy Racing League career in 1997 as the highest qualifying rookie for three races.
