Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Structure For Worldwide Aftermarket GroupSOUTHFIELD, Mich., Oct. 19 -- Gordon A. Ulsh, executive vice president, Worldwide Aftermarket, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the new organizational structure for the Worldwide Aftermarket group with the following appointments effective immediately: * James C. (Jay) Burkhart, vice president, marketing * Patrick Dlugokinski, vice president, logistics * James L. Fetter, director, finance * John McCormack, vice president, European Aftermarket * Edward J. O'Leary, vice president, sales - The Americas * David M. Wilson, managing director, Asia Pacific * Yossi Zekri, vice president, FP Diesel * Arlis A. McLean, director, human resources "We have assembled a very talented all-star team to lead our global aftermarket business," said Ulsh. "We have great opportunities to strengthen our business and be the benchmark of service to our customers." Jay Burkhart, Vice President, Marketing Jay Burkhart has been appointed vice president, marketing. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Burkhart served as vice president of marketing at Cooper Automotive, a division of Cooper Industries. Prior to this, he was vice president of marketing, worldwide for Tenneco Automotive. Burkhart joined Tenneco Automotive in 1990. Burkhart began his career in the packaged goods industry working with brand management assignments at Borden and Beatrice/Hunt-Wesson. Burkhart earned a Master's and a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati. Patrick Dlugokinski, Vice President, Logistics Patrick Dlugokinski is vice president, logistics. Dlugokinski was appointed to his current position in June 1998. Prior to this appointment, Dlugokinski was director, logistics integration and development. Patrick joined Federal-Mogul in 1966 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in logistics and materials management. At Federal-Mogul, he has been group materials manager, North American Aftermarket and general manager - Far East. Dlugokinski earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. James L. Fetter, Director, Finance James L. Fetter is director, finance. Fetter was appointed to his current position in March 1998. He previously held the position of financial controller - North American Aftermarket. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, he served as chief financial officer for Allied Signal's Automotive Aftermarket division in Providence, Rhode Island. Fetter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Miami University in Ohio. He is currently working on his Master's degree in management from Central Michigan University. John McCormack, Vice President, European Aftermarket John McCormack is vice president, European Aftermarket. McCormack was appointed to his current position in March 1998. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul he had been employed with T&N since 1993 where he most recently held the position of product group chief executive - engine parts aftermarket group. Other positions have included managing director - European Aftermarket division, friction product group and managing director of Goetze Motorenteile in Burscheid, Germany. Prior to T&N, he served in key management positions at TRW International and Ford of Europe. McCormack earned a Bachelor's degree from Oxford University. Edward J. O'Leary, Vice President, Sales - The Americas Edward J. O'Leary has been appointed vice president, sales - The Americas. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, O'Leary held the position of executive vice president, sales and marketing, Cooper Automotive. Edward had responsibility for the Moog chassis and suspension line, Wagner brake, Champion spark plugs, Precision and Rolero driveline products, Anco windshield wiper products, Wagner lighting and Belden and PowerPath product lines. O'Leary previously held positions including vice president, sales and marketing, Moog Automotive and national sales manager of Monroe Auto Equipment, a division of Tenneco Automotive. O'Leary earned a degree in business administration from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the Harvard Advanced Management Program, Harvard University. David M. Wilson, Managing Director, Asia Pacific David M. Wilson has been appointed managing director, Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Wilson held the position of managing director, Asia Pacific for Cooper Automotive since 1990. He joined Champion in 1988 as managing director, Australia. Wilson came to Cooper Automotive from Singer Australia LTD where he served as managing director, Australasia. Wilson earned a Bachelor's degree in commerce-marketing from the University of N.S.W., Australia. Yossi Zekri, Vice President, FP Diesel Yossi Zekri has been appointed vice president, FP Diesel. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Zekri held the position of vice president sales and marketing at FP Diesel. In his six years at FP Diesel, he has held a series of positions including vice president of operations, director of operations and corporate controller. Zekri earned a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in biological science from the University of California, Irvine. Arlis A. McLean, Director, Human Resources Arlis A. McLean continues in her role as director, human resources. McLean has announced her resignation effective mid-November in order to remain in the Chicago area. Her replacement will be announced soon.
