Rick Cabral Appointed Vice President of Information Services at Autobytel.com Inc.

    IRVINE, Calif.--Oct. 19, 1998--Autobytel.com Inc., the premier Internet car-buying service, Monday announced the appointment of Rick Cabral to vice president of Information Services.
    In this position, Cabral is responsible for all projects within Autobytel.com's Information Technology department, including Web site development, back-end solutions, database applications, extranets and more.
    "Heading up the IT department of a Web-based company is no small challenge, and Rick is well prepared for the task," said Ann Delligatta, Autobytel.com's chief operating officer. "With Rick's extensive background in managing and implementing effective technology solutions, Autobytel.com can look forward to continued systems advancements."
    Cabral brings more than 13 years of experience of software programming and systems development to Autobytel.com.
    His most recent post was at AST Computer as senior manager, Application Development, where he managed the implementation and support of systems for various departments and was instrumental in developing key systems for sales and marketing, supply chain management, Internet/Intranet, EDI and data warehousing.
    Prior to AST, Cabral worked at Corning Nichols Institute as systems manager, Business Applications, where he was responsible for managing the development and support of the corporate Sales and Marketing, Clinical Studies and Accounts Receivable/Billing systems.
