Donnelly Corporation Announces Dividend

    HOLLAND, Mich., Oct. 16 -- Donnelly Corporation
announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of
10 cents ($0.10) per share on its Class A Common Stock.  The dividend will be
paid on January 1, 1999 to shareholders of record at the close of business on
December 15, 1998.
    Donnelly Corporation is an international automotive supplier dedicated to
