Winnebago Industries Declares Cash Dividend

    FOREST CITY, Iowa, Oct. 16 -- The board of directors of
Winnebago Industries, Inc., have declared a cash dividend of ten
cents per share, payable on January 11, 1999 to shareholders of record as of
December 11, 1998.  The dividend announcement indicates the Board of
Directors' continued confidence in the Company and its continued strength of
the RV industry.  Earlier this week, Winnebago Industries reported record
revenues of $525.1 million for the year ended August 29, 1998.
