International Sales Executive Named At MotorVac

    SANTA ANA, Calif.--Oct. 15, 1998--MotorVac Technologies , manufacturer and marketer of the MotorVac CarbonClean System and Industrial Diesel Tune, Thursday announced the promotion of Romy Laxamana from director of marketing to vice president of international sales.
    "Romy's experience and insight into the automotive aftermarket gives us an advantage in the international arena," said Lee Melody, president and chief executive officer of MotorVac. "The fact that we were twice named as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Southern California during his tenure (as marketing director) is an example of his expertise."
    Melody believes that the change comes at a critical time for the company's international sales. "The market is so volatile right now that I felt it was imperative to put a skilled market and product person in what is one of our most crucial posts," he said.
    According to Laxamana, one of his first priorities is to communicate a recent series of positive test results for the Industrial Diesel Tune. "I want to show people the results we've been able to obtain for the IDT," said Laxamana. "Let the results speak to the quality of the product."
    Prior to MotorVac, Laxamana held sales and marketing positions in the automotive and truck aftermarket industries for over 14 years.
