The Auxer Group, Inc. Announces A Licensing Agreement With CARQUESTWAYNE, N.J., Oct. 14 -- The Auxer Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AXGI) announces its subsidiary, the Harvey Westbury Corporation, has entered into a licensing agreement with CARQUEST Products, Inc., an automotive distribution company, to use the trademark, CARQUEST, on certain automotive products which are to be produced and packaged by the Harvey Westbury Corporation. Under this agreement, Harvey Westbury will manufacture, assemble and package a variety of products under the CARQUEST trademark to be distributed internationally throughout CARQUEST's network of 52 warehouse distributors and over 3,600 retail outlets and jobbers. According to the Directory of Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers, CARQUEST's total sales last year were estimated to be $680,000,000. Additionally, the Harvey Westbury Corp. recently attended the International Boat Show in Chicago. The company introduced their 1998-99 spokesmodel, Ms. Lynn Johnson, Penthouse Model. The company's booth was a main attraction this year, and the tremendous turnout from prospects and clients is expected to translate into strong sales in the upcoming season. Ms. Johnson will be making several public appearances for the group over the coming year and is scheduled to participate in the 1999 advertising campaigns for Formula 2000 Ultimate(TM) and Garry's(R) products.
