New CEO Named at ADESA Canada

    INDIANAPOLIS--Oct. 14, 1998--Jim Hallett, President of ADESA Corporation, today announced the appointment of Brian J. Warner as President and CEO of ADESA Canada. Warner will be responsible for overall operations and oversight at all four ADESA auctions in Montreal, Ottawa, Halifax and Moncton.
    "Minnesota Power and ADESA are sending a strong message to our Canadian friends and customers," said Hallett. "In addition to expanding customer services we expect ADESA Canada to clearly be the number one remarketer of automobiles, through auctions, in Canada and Brian Warner's skills will help us achieve our strategic objectives," Hallett said.
    Warner is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Management Information from Ball State University. He previously served as ADESA's Corporate Controller, Chief Financial Officer and, most recently, General Manager of ADESA Indianapolis, one of the company's largest auctions.
