Oxford Automotive, Inc. Appoints Stormy Hicks, to Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Globalization

    TROY, Mich.--Oct. 14, 1998--Oxford Automotive, Inc., a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, appoints Stormy T. Hicks to the newly created position of senior vice president corporate development and globalization. Steven Abelman, president and CEO of Oxford made the announcement today.
    Hicks will be responsible for the organizational development, logistics and global integration. Reporting to Hicks are the human resources, purchasing, marketing/communication and strategic planning departments.
    Hicks previously held the position of director, worldwide logistics planning, procurement and operations at Ford Motor Company. He served as a senior member of the Ford organizational Operating Committee for a 3,000 person global material planning and logistics operation. Other responsibilities included the development and implementation of 1,500 person, worldwide inbound material/outbound vehicle customs enterprise at a total cost of $4 billion.
