New "Short Run" Program for Standard DC Servo Motors and Drives
ELK RIVER, Minn.,--Oct. 14, 1998--Dynetic Systems Company of Elk River, Minnesota announces the release of their new Short Run Manufacturing Program.
In response to high demand for near term shipments of Fractional Horsepower DC Servo Motors and Drives, the company has implemented a new modular manufacturing technique which allows for production leadtimes in as little as 2-5 weeks, for lot shipments of 10, 25, 50 and 100 units, with production samples available from stock. There are no minimum order quantity requirements.
The motors are available with options that include gearheads, tachometers, and optical encoders. Motor frame sizes range from 1.5", 2.25" and 3.13" in diameter with output torques ranging from 5 oz.in.to 400 foot pounds continuous. Compatible drives include single and multi-axis amplifiers, open or closed loop PM servo drives which are capable of operating in either velocity or torque modes. The amplifiers can be shipped complete with a self contained power supply for the "plug and play" convenience of a fully calibrated DC motor and drive system. Power ratings range from 72 Watts to 600 Watts continuous, per axis. Designed for simple set up and operation, these systems are well suited for a variety of applications which include industrial automation, machine vision and inspection equipment, robotics, valve actuation, medical equipment and many other uses that demand precise motion control.
Design and manufacture standard and custom DC motors, servo motors, gearmotors, motor speed controls, and servo amplifiers. Options include tachometer/generators, geartrains, failsafe brakes and optical encoders. Motor types available include fractional horsepower, adjustable speed, servo, permanent magnet DC, subfractional horsepower, Mil-Spec, NEMA standard, variable speed, battery operated, total enclosed non-ventilated, and custom designed. Motor drives include single axis, multiple axis amplifiers, open loop controls, servo controls, four quadrant closed loop drives, and motion control systems. ISO 9000 qualification in process.
