Tenneco Board Declares Fourth Quarter Dividend

    GREENWICH, Conn.--Oct. 13, 1998--Tenneco announced today that its board of directors has declared a regular fourth quarter dividend of 30 cents per share on its common stock. The dividend is payable on December 8, 1998 to shareowners of record at the close of business on November 27, 1998.
