Aid Auto Stores Announces De-Listing from NASDAQ

    WESTBURY, N.Y.--Oct. 8, 1998--AID AUTO STORES INC. announced today that it was informed on Oct. 7 1998 by NASDAQ that, effective on the close of business on such date, the company's securities would be de-listed from NASDAQ because the company's tangible net worth no longer meets the NASDAQ requirement.
    The company's securities (AIDA, AIDAW) have commenced trading on the OTC Bulletin Board.
