Goodyear Declares Dividend 
    AKRON, Ohio, Oct. 6 -- Directors of The Goodyear Tire &
Rubber Company today declared a quarterly dividend of 30 cents a share.  The
dividend is payable Dec. 15 to shareholders of record Nov. 16.  The payout
represents an annual rate of $1.20 per share.
