Universal Automotive, Inc. ("UBP") Named Preferred Supplier For National Buying Group

    CHICAGO, Oct. 5 -- Universal Automotive Industries, Inc.
, is pleased to announce that its
Universal Brake Parts (UBP) unit has been selected as the preferred brake
rotor and drum supplier to RPM Group.  RPM Group is a national buying group
with headquarters in Roanoke, Va., and consists of 21 members with a total of
approximately 250 retail parts outlets.  The RPM contract is projected to add
between $3 million to $5 million sales annually.  The contract is for three
years provided certain performance goals are met.
