Dana's Perfect Circle Sealed Power Division Honored With Allied Signal Supplier Excellence AwardMUSKEGON, Mich., Oct. 5 -- The Perfect Circle Sealed Power Division of Dana Corporation has been awarded the prestigious Allied Signal Truck Brake System 1997 Supplier Excellence Award. The world's largest manufacturer of piston rings, Perfect Circle Sealed Power shipped more than 7.5 million piston rings for brake air compressors to Allied Signal in 1997. The division received the Supplier Excellence Award for "outstanding performance" in the areas of quality, delivery, cost, and other factors. The award was presented as a single award to four of the division's plants: -- The Harvey Street machining plant, Muskegon, Mich. -- The Franklin cast iron plant, Franklin, Ky. -- The Franklin steel plant, Franklin, Ky. -- The Manchester plant, Manchester, Mo. Representatives from the Harvey Street machining plant accepted the award on behalf of the four plants at the Perfect Circle Sealed Power division headquarters in Muskegon. The presentation was part of Allied Signal's Annual Supplier Review.
