BMW Reports September Sales
WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., Oct. 2 -- BMW of North America, Inc.,
reported September retail sales of 9,323 automobiles. Total annual sales are
up 4-percent, with 97,835 cars sold year-to-date.
Land Rover North America, Inc., a member of the BMW Group, reported
September sales of 1,568 vehicles and year-to-date sales of 15,105.
Consolidated U.S. September sales for the two companies were 10,891 units
(BMW: 9,323; Land Rover: 1,568) and consolidated year-to-date sales increased
1 percent, to 112,940 vehicles (BMW: 97,835; Land Rover: 15,105).

number on the attached chart.)
