Oxford Automotive, Inc. Appoints John Walker As Director of Manufacturing Engineering
    TROY, Mich., Sept. 30 -- Oxford Automotive, Inc., a leading
Tier 1 supplier of manufactured engineered metal components, assemblies and
modules, recently announced the appointment of John Walker as director of
manufacturing engineering.
    Walker previously held the position of vice president engineering for A.O.
Smith Corporation, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and prior to that he was
the general manager for APC Tool Division.
    As director of manufacturing engineering, Walker's responsibilities
include: the planning and launch of new advanced quality programs; project
management of current engineering and process improvements; and streamlining
systems such as the Oxford Automotive Production System Implementation across
the company.
