Federal-Mogul Appoints Jon C. Samuelson, Director, Finance, General Products

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 28 -- Frank Tomes, executive vice
president, General Products, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces
the appointment of Jon C. Samuelson to director, finance, General Products,
effective immediately.
    Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Samuelson held the position of controller,
North American Equipment Division, Tenneco Automotive, having been promoted
from the position of controller, Monroe Division.  Prior to Tenneco, Samuelson
served as director, finance, Anti-lock Braking Systems with AlliedSignal.  He
progressed through various positions there where he obtained European
experience and combined operations experience with group control.
    Samuelson earned an MBA in marketing from the University of Rhode Island
and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the
University of New Hampshire.
