Sequa Elects Harmon Corporate Secretary

    NEW YORK--Sept. 24--Ellen Taubenblatt Harmon, senior associate general counsel of Sequa Corporation, has been elected to the additional post of corporate secretary.
    Harmon joined Sequa in 1988 as associate general counsel and was appointed assistant secretary later the same year. Previously, she spent four years with Savin Corporation, where she served as associate general counsel and assistant secretary. She began her professional career in 1979 as an associate with Kronish, Lieb, Weiner and Hellman, a New York law firm.
    A 1975 graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, Harmon received a JD degree in 1979 from Brooklyn Law School. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association.
    Sequa Corporation is a diversified manufacturing company with principal interests in aerospace, machinery and metal coatings, specialty chemicals and automotive products.
