Fourth Shift Recognizes Companies Who Have Achieved Manufacturing ExcellenceFORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 24 -- Hurricane Georges did not stop Fourth Shift Corporation from inducting five new members to its Circle of Excellence at the Fourth Shift Fall User Conference held at the Marriott Harbor Beach Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Fourth Shift Circle of Excellence awards program recognizes manufacturing companies who have demonstrated exceptional on-time delivery rates, high productivity levels, and the ability to meet rapidly growing customer demands. Using Fourth Shift MSS for OBJECTS, the inductees were able to significantly increase on-time delivery rates, finished product first pass quality yield, annual revenue per employee, and annual inventory turns. The companies were also able to decrease manufacturing cycle time, customer reject rates, and customer order lead times.
