Sequa Names O'Sullivan to Senior Financial Reporting Post

    NEW YORK--Sept. 23--Joanne M. O'Sullivan has been named director of financial reporting for Sequa Corporation, a Fortune 1000 company with operations headquarters in Hackensack, New Jersey.
    O'Sullivan, 34, joined Sequa in 1988 as a staff accountant and has advanced through a series of increasingly responsible positions in the corporate controller's office. She served most recently as manager of financial reporting, and her experience also encompasses budget, pension and government accounting responsibilities.
    Before joining Sequa, O'Sullivan was an auditor with Arthur Andersen, LLP. She is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A graduate of Montclair State College (BS, 1986), she received an MBA in finance from Iona College in 1998.
