Grease Monkey Holding Corporation Announces Resignation of Two Officers

    DENVER, Sept. 17 -- Grease Monkey Holding Corporation
(OTC Bulletin Board: GMHC) today announced the resignation of Charles E.
Steinbrueck as President and C.E.O., and Dana Klapper Cohen as Vice President,
General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.  The Company will announce its plans
regarding replacement at a future time.
    Grease Monkey International, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the
Company, is one of the nation's largest franchisors of fast lube and oil
change centers.  With 209 centers in the United States and Mexico, of which 33
are company owned, Grease Monkey is one of the largest fast lube and oil
change companies.  In Colorado, there are 53 Grease Monkey centers, of which
19 are company owned.
