Insurance, Education Experts Join New Educators Plus Advisory Board

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--Sept. 10, 1998--

    PESCO, Liberty Mutual offer Fla. educators customized, discounted
    auto insurance

    Nine leaders in the education and insurance field have accepted positions on a new advisory board formed to help implement an auto insurance savings program for Florida educators.
    Public Employees Services Company (PESCO) and Liberty Mutual Group announced today the board members of the companies' Educators Plus(TM) program. Educators Plus offers customized and discounted auto insurance and other personal insurance to affiliated members in the Florida educators community.

The new board's members are:

PAT L. TORNILLO, JR. (Chair), Executive Vice President-United Teachers of Dade; WALTER DARTLAND (Vice-Chair), Special Counsel, Office of the Attorney General, Florida; ANDY BEVERLY, President, Florida Insurance School; DR. DOUGLAS CRAWFORD, Executive Director, Florida Association of School Administrators; BILL GUNTER, Chief Executive Officer, Rogers, Atkins, Gunter & Associates Insurance, Inc. and former insurance commissioner, State of Florida; JOYCE HOBSON, Director, Division of Administration, Department of Education; WILLIAM SUTTON, former Secretary of Commerce, State of Florida; AARON WALLACE, past President, Florida Teaching Profession-National Education Association; and ANDREA WHITELEY, Immediate Past President, Florida School Board Association.

Educators Plus will offer PESCO clients the following features:

-- 10 percent group discount: All affiliated members receive an additional 10 percent discount when they purchase an auto policy from Liberty Mutual.

-- Customized auto coverage: All Educators Plus auto policies include a waiver of deductible for any vandalism loss that occurs to an insured vehicle while on school property or when used for school-related events.

-- Convenient payment plans:
    --premium deductions taken from the member's paycheck (where
    available) or checking account; or,
    --direct billing at the member's home.

-- Additional discounts: include a 17 percent multi-car discount, 10-30 percent passive restraints discount and 10-25 percent anti-theft devices discount.

-- Value-added services: include a 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance(a), 24-hour claims reporting and extended service hours.
