8 September 1998

Former Loronix Distributor Joins with Prima Facie Inc. to Distribute Roadrecorder

PHILADELPHIA--Sept. 8, 1998--Prima Facie Inc. has signed a definitive letter of intent with Safety Vision Inc. of Houston to distribute Prima Facie's highly successful line of RoadRecorder (TM) mobile digital video products. Safety Vision will sell PFI products to the public transit, armored, trucking and other mobile markets.
"Safety Vision has impressed us for some time with its professionalism and outstanding marketing and support capabilities," said Shawn M. Marcell, Prima Facie's chief executive officer. "We believe partnering with Safety Vision will enhance our leadership position in digital video security."
Safety Vision previously distributed CCTVWare (TM) digital video products made by Loronix Information Systems of Durango, Colo. However, the superior product quality and field support offered by Prima Facie led Safety Vision to pursue a commercial relationship with PFI. "Prima Facie has more than 1,000 digital video systems in the field working with a high degree of reliability," said Bruce Smith, Safety Vision's founder and president. "The company's strong reputation for product quality and support, combined with superior digital video technology, made Prima Facie a logical choice for us."
Prima Facie designs and sells digital video security solutions for mobile and stationary uses. PFI, the first company to combine security video and the Internet, is becoming the premier security data management company because of its ability to aggregate security video footage on the Internet for its customers.
Safety Vision is a worldwide integrator and marketer of surveillance solutions designed specifically for mobile applications. Rear vision camera systems, analog observation systems, infrared surveillance and digital video recording are a few of the products Safety Vision distributes to a variety of industries including public transportation, intercity bus carriers, emergency, and refuse vehicles.
