Juhn Named Chairman of Hyundai Motor America

M. H. Juhn Named Chairman of Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Auto Canada
    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. Sept. 8 -- It was announced today
that M. H. "Mark" Juhn has been named chairman of Hyundai Motor America (HMA)
and Hyundai Auto Canada (HAC).  Juhn previously had been president of the two
organizations.
    Juhn rejoined Hyundai Motor America in January of 1997 after working as
managing director for Export to North and Latin America with Hyundai Motor
Company, parent firm of HMA.  Juhn had served as executive vice president of
HMA from May of 1989 through October of 1992.
    He will be responsible for the coordinating North American strategic
direction with the parent company in Korea.
