Donnelly Moves to Strengthen Customer Business Units
HOLLAND, Mich., Sept. 8 -- Donnelly Corporation
today announced a number of moves to strengthen its top-level management of
relationships with several key customers. Included in the moves are several
new assignments for business unit managers and the addition of an experienced
automotive executive.
Joining Donnelly is Mark Lee Lunau as director of Donnelly's Chrysler
business unit. Lunau, 42, will have overall responsibility for managing
Donnelly's business relationship with Chrysler, including sales and marketing
and new program management. Lunau has more than 20 years of experience
working in the auto industry, including employment with General Motors, Kelsey
Hayes and, most recently, Peregrine Incorporated. He has worked extensively
in sales and marketing, planning and manufacturing engineering.
Lunau is married, has two children, and holds a bachelor's degree from
General Motors Institute and an MBA from the University of Detroit.
Donnelly also announced a number of related changes in the management of
its customer business units:
-- Mark Drumheller moves from vice president, Chrysler business unit, to
vice president and head of the Ford business unit. Ford is Donnelly's largest
North American customer, and Drumheller has worked extensively with Ford
during the course of his career.
-- Greg Dalman moves from acting director of the Ford business unit to
director of the General Motors business unit. Donnelly has been named a GM
"Supplier of the Year" for three consecutive years, and has been steadily
increasing its level of business with GM. Dalman will play a pivotal role in
helping that business continue to grow.
-- Ron Vandenberg moves from vice president, GM business unit, to vice
president and head of strategic projects for North American Automotive
Operations. In his new role Vandenberg will focus primarily on helping
Donnelly continue to expand its growing market share in electrochromic
mirrors.
"It is exciting to have a seasoned, capable manager like Mark Lunau join
our team," said Donn Viola, Donnelly's chief operating officer for North
America. "He brings an outstanding base of contacts and knowledge of our
industry, and the addition of Mark to our team allows us to initiate the
