United Recyclers Group Appoint New PresidentDENVER, Sept. 4 -- Today, the Board of Managers of United Recyclers Group, LLC (URG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay Raimondi, as the President of URG. United Recyclers Group, LLC is a recently formed partnership of over 360 premier auto recyclers in North America. Mr. Raimondi's appointment comes at a critical point in time for URG. As the company expands at a rapid pace and rolls-out its Pinnacle Auto Recycling Trading System (PARTS) computer information management software, he is charged with propelling the company into the 21st century. Mr. Raimondi said, "Electronic commerce will have a major impact on the future of the collision repair industry. URG's focus will be to provide the highest level of connectivity, uniformity and quality to all components of the industry." "URG has three key business objectives. The effective integration of our business with insurers, repair shops and each other to create a seamless flow of commerce is our primary objective. Secondly, we will effectively leverage the purchasing power of the URG Partners through the URG Buying Cooperative. The third objective is to further develop and expand the new URG Accreditation program that sets quality business standards for the URG Partners. URG will pursue world-class quality management standards for our organization through ISO/QS 9000." Mr. Raimondi adds, "Best Management Practices will reinforce the value of URG parts, establishing it as the brand of recycled auto parts to choose." Mr. Raimondi enthusiastically supports URG's efforts in the rapid development and deployment of a major business computer system, the PARTS(TM). This effort would not have been possible without significant grassroots support from Partners across North America. "The Pinnacle will allow URG Partners to take advantage of the most state-of-the-art electronic commerce system in the marketplace and will integrate advanced technologies including imaging, to thrust URG Partners in the 21st century and allow them to become the most competitive recyclers." Mr. Raimondi's experience includes fourteen years in the collision repair and auto salvage industries. While working for Copart Salvage Auto Auctions and ADP, Mr. Raimondi was responsible for generating business through many of the nations largest Insurers. As General Manager of ADP Parts Services, Mr. Raimondi was also responsible for the development and rollout of the Parts Exchange New & Salvage(TM) products for ADP. Over the past year, Mr. Raimondi has consulted for URG on several projects including the development of insurance based parts locating and salvage procurement services. Mr. Raimondi's technical background includes a degree in electrical engineering along with two years of experience developing Internet commerce applications including an international cargo container auction. He resides with his wife in Denver, Colorado and has two children, ages 19 and 22, in college.
