United Recyclers Group Appoint New President
DENVER, Sept. 4 -- Today, the Board of Managers of United
Recyclers Group, LLC (URG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jay
Raimondi, as the President of URG. United Recyclers Group, LLC is a recently
formed partnership of over 360 premier auto recyclers in North America.
Mr. Raimondi's appointment comes at a critical point in time for URG. As
the company expands at a rapid pace and rolls-out its Pinnacle Auto Recycling
Trading System (PARTS) computer information management software, he is charged
with propelling the company into the 21st century. Mr. Raimondi said,
"Electronic commerce will have a major impact on the future of the collision
repair industry. URG's focus will be to provide the highest level of
connectivity, uniformity and quality to all components of the industry."
"URG has three key business objectives. The effective integration of our
business with insurers, repair shops and each other to create a seamless flow
of commerce is our primary objective. Secondly, we will effectively leverage
the purchasing power of the URG Partners through the URG Buying Cooperative.
The third objective is to further develop and expand the new URG Accreditation
program that sets quality business standards for the URG Partners. URG will
pursue world-class quality management standards for our organization through
ISO/QS 9000." Mr. Raimondi adds, "Best Management Practices will reinforce
the value of URG parts, establishing it as the brand of recycled auto parts to
choose."
Mr. Raimondi enthusiastically supports URG's efforts in the rapid
development and deployment of a major business computer system, the PARTS(TM).
This effort would not have been possible without significant grassroots
support from Partners across North America. "The Pinnacle will allow URG
Partners to take advantage of the most state-of-the-art electronic commerce
system in the marketplace and will integrate advanced technologies including
imaging, to thrust URG Partners in the 21st century and allow them to become
the most competitive recyclers."
Mr. Raimondi's experience includes fourteen years in the collision repair
and auto salvage industries. While working for Copart Salvage Auto Auctions
and ADP, Mr. Raimondi was responsible for generating business through many of
the nations largest Insurers. As General Manager of ADP Parts Services,
Mr. Raimondi was also responsible for the development and rollout of the Parts
Exchange New & Salvage(TM) products for ADP. Over the past year, Mr. Raimondi
has consulted for URG on several projects including the development of
insurance based parts locating and salvage procurement services.
Mr. Raimondi's technical background includes a degree in electrical
engineering along with two years of experience developing Internet commerce
applications including an international cargo container auction. He resides
with his wife in Denver, Colorado and has two children, ages 19 and 22, in
college.
