Arvin Announces Organizational Changes
COLUMBUS, Ind.--Aug. 28, 1998--Arvin Industries, Inc. . Larry D. Blair, President-Arvin Exhaust North America, announced that Hector Bottai has been appointed to the new position of Director of Operations - Arvin Exhaust South America.Bottai joined Arvin in 1978 as Product Technician at Cofap-Arvin. Since that time he has held positions of increasing responsibilities. He holds a Technologist Degree in Mechanical Production Processes from Faculdade de Tecnologia de Sao Paulo and completed additional course work in Industrial Administration at the Univeridade de Sao Paulo.
Pietro Allodi has been appointed to the position of Plant Manager, Arvin Exhaust do Brazil.
Allodi joined Arvin in 1990. He holds degrees in Operational Electrical Engineering and Economics from Universidade Mackenzie as well as a degree in Industrial Electrical Engineering from Universidade Santa Cecilia.
Luciana de Oliveira Rodrigues has been appointed to the position of Operations Manager - Cambui Plant (and Taubate Satellite).
Rodrigues joined Cofap-Arvin in 1991. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Federa de Engenharia de Itajuba (MG).
Luiz Henrique de Oliveira Machado has been appointed to the position of Chief of Operations - Rio Grande do Sul.
In this role, Machado will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and operation of Arvin/GM - Gravatai and Arvin/Ford -Guaiba satellites.
Machado joined Cofap-Arvin in 1993. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Federa de Engenharia de Itajuba (MG).
Marcos Valenca dos Santos has been appointed to the position of Chief of Human Resources - Arvin Exhaust do Brazil.
Santos is a graduate of Faculdades Associadas Santana Sao Paulo and earned his degree in Business Administration. He attended post graduate studies at the same school majoring in Human Resources. He is currently attending the Universidade do ABC (Uniabc) studying Law.
