Celadon Group Inc. Receives Chrysler Corporation's Director's Award

    INDIANAPOLIS--Aug. 27, 1998--Celadon Group Inc. , the leading truckload transportation services provider from the United States and Canada to and from Mexico, announced today that it has received Chrysler Corporation's Director's Award.
    The company said it received the award in "recognition of excellence" related to Celadon's transportation of Chrysler products between the United States and Mexico.
    Commenting on the award, Executive Vice President, Michael Archual, said, "We are proud of the confidence placed in us by Chrysler Corporation, a major customer of Celadon with a relationship that dates back to 1985."
    Celadon Group Inc. is a truckload company specializing in the transport of goods to and from Mexico. The company has approximately 2,100 tractors and 6,100 trailers.
