Donnelly Corporation Names Scott E. Reed New Chief Financial OfficerHOLLAND, Mich., Aug. 26 -- Scott E. Reed will join Donnelly Corporation September 1 as chief financial officer, the company announced today. Reed, 41, comes to Donnelly with over 15 years experience in automotive finance. In his new position, Reed has overall responsibility for all the financial activities of the company. He will report to Dwane Baumgardner, Donnelly's chairman and chief executive officer. "In the past few years, Donnelly has expanded its operations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, and needs a strong financial leader to help drive the international integration of the company," said Baumgardner. "Scott has a deep understanding of the overseas marketplace and the challenges and opportunities inherent in doing business in a global automotive industry. He has rock-solid technical skills and the creativity, integrity and intelligence needed to develop financial direction and policies and, most importantly, the people he works with every day." Before joining Donnelly, Reed spent 15 years in various financial positions at Chrysler Corporation. Most recently, he served as director of international finance with responsibility for all the financial aspects of the automaker's international operations, including accounting, treasury, credit, financing, tax and audit. A native of New York, Reed earned a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness from Michigan State University and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University.
