ASHA Corp. Readies for a Share of the $100 Billion Automotive Aftermarket
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--Aug. 26, 1998--ASHA Corp. has announced the formation of a full-time, internal marketing team to identify and develop a strategy to introduce their revolutionary Gerodisc(TM) limited-slip differential to the automotive aftermarket.Gerodisc's flexibility and race proven performance will allow the ASHA marketing team to target a large number of existing automotive platforms. "The unique versatility of ASHA's Gerodisc(TM) will insure its compatibility to a vast number of existing vehicles while providing a real safety and handling benefit along with improved performance," stated John Ward, ASHA's newly appointed director of Gerodisc(TM) Aftermarket Development.
ASHA's present marketing effort will be its first to put the company in a key strategic position to take advantage of the growing $100 billion aftermarket industry.
Gerodisc(TM) technology is featured on the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The 1999 Grand Cherokee is currently in production in the U.S., and is slated to begin European production in early January 1999.
