MascoTech Acquires K-Tech Mfg., Inc.
    TAYLOR, Mich., Aug. 7 -- MascoTech, Inc. today
announced the acquisition, in a private transaction, of K-Tech Mfg., a
Wheeling, Illinois-based manufacturer of industrial fasteners.
    K-Tech serves North American original equipment manufacturers and
distributors with custom-engineered and standard fasteners for metal and
plastic applications.  The company's products, markets and manufacturing
processes are highly complementary to MascoTech's Specialty Fastener Group.
Annual revenues for K-Tech approximate $25 million.
