Environmental Technologies Corporation Signs an Exclusive Agreement with Air Refrigerants, LLC
    LAKEWOOD, N.J., Aug. 6 -- Environmental Technologies
Corporation announced today the signing of an exclusive
agreement with Air Refrigerants, LLC to manufacture and market
Free Zone RB 276 refrigerant to all automotive and stationary markets in the
United States. In addition, Environmental Technologies acquired the rights to
expand into certain overseas markets.
Free Zone RB 276 refrigerant is the most widely accepted environmentally
safe replacement for R-12 (CFC-12) in air conditioning applications. It
contains a near azeotropic blend of the R-134a and R-142b refrigerants, as
well as, a high lubricant package, which has been patented
(US Pat. No. 5,492,643). Free Zone RB 276 has been listed by the
US Environmental Protection Agency as SNAP acceptable, in addition, to
approval by the military with NSN #6830-01-6674. This proprietary refrigerant
is formulated to match the thermodynamic properties and operating
characteristics of R-12. Designed to facilitate a "Quick Change," it does not
require any retrofit parts, (except EPA required service port fittings)
adjustments or a system flushing.
Environmental Technologies believes that Free Zone RB 276 will be a good
compliment to its existing product offering and a substantial area of growth
in the company's future.
