DSP Technology Inc. Receives $1.6 Million Contract for Six RedLine Systems and Accessories
FREMONT, Calif.--August 6, 1998--DSP Technology Inc. Thursday announced receipt of a contract valued at approximately $1.6 million for RedLine ADAPT dynamometer control systems and dynamometer cell accessories from the world's leading manufacturer of mid-range diesel engines."This new contract is for six RedLine ADAPT systems and dynamometer cell accessories, commissioning and specific custom installation services for this Illinois-based diesel manufacturer," said F. Gil Troutman, president of DSP Technology.
Troutman added that initial shipments would commence this year with completion scheduled for summer 1999. He noted that recent RedLine product improvements addressing diesel-specific technology have enabled the company to bid on and win an increasing percentage of contracts for diesel engine testing and development.
DSP Technology's RedLine ADAPT dynamometer cell data acquisition equipment and accessories are used for engine, transmission and powertrain testing, research and development.
