Monaco Coach Corporation Reports Record Setting Wholesale Orders at Holiday Rambler Division Annual Dealer Congress
    COBURG, Ore., Aug. 5 -- Monaco Coach Corporation
today announced that its Holiday Rambler Division received a
record 1,231 wholesale orders at its annual Dealer Congress held in Las Vegas,
Nevada, July 27-29.  At the event, Holiday Rambler retail dealers were given
an opportunity to preview the 1999 model line and place orders.
    "We set a goal to reach 500 orders for towable products and 500 orders for
motorized products, and I'm happy to report that we more than reached that
goal," stated Jim Sheldon, Monaco Coach Corporation Indiana Chief Operating
Officer and Holiday Rambler Division President.  Sheldon continued, "Each
year, we incorporate many refinements into our products that are the result of
feedback we receive from our dealers and customers.  This year, our dealers
responded to these changes by placing a record number of orders."
