Hyundai Reports July Sales Increase 12.6%

    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 4 -- Hyundai Motor America
today announced sales of 8,822 vehicles for the month of July.  The sales
represented a 12.6% increase over Hyundai's sales of 7,834 in June, 1998.
    Following is the sales breakdown:
