DSP Technology Inc. Wins $1.3 Million Contract for Redline Adapt Dynamometer Products and Accessories


    FREMONT, Calif.--Aug. 4, 1998--DSP Technology Inc. Tuesday announced receipt of a contract valued at approximately $1.3 million for RedLine ADAPT dynamometer control systems and dynamometer cell accessories from a major United States-based agricultural equipment supplier.
    "DSP Technology will supply, install and commission its ADAPT dynamometer control systems and cell accessories at six test cells of this Iowa-based equipment manufacturer," said F. Gil Troutman, president of DSP Technology.
    Troutman added that the RedLine ADAPT systems and dynamometer cell accessories would be used for the testing and development of transmission and driveline systems. He noted that the products would be substantially shipped in the current fiscal year with installation and commissioning to be completed next year.
    DSP Technology's RedLine ADAPT dynamometer cell data acquisition equipment and accessories are used for engine, transmission and powertrain testing, research and development.
