Systran Corp. Introduces GoldExpress Bus Analysis Software for 1553 Solutions

DAYTON, Ohio--Aug. 4, 1998--Systran Corp., manufacturer of the 1553 Solutions(TM) line of MIL-STD-1553 interfaces, today announced the availability of GoldExpress, a new Graphical User Interface (GUI) software package for use with Systran's Gold and Gold+ 1553 Solutions interfaces.
GoldExpress facilitates data acquisition, mission loading, LRU testing, and data bus debugging on the MIL-STD-1553 databus through the Bus Controller (BC), Remote Terminal (RT) and Bus Monitor (BM) modes of Systran's 1553 Solutions boards. The software uses a common top level menu to access overlay modules specific to each card in Systran's Gold series. Its user-friendly GUI format allows users to perform many high-level MIL-STD-1553 bus analysis functions. GoldExpress Software offers:


-- Real-time display and disc capture of bus activity (BC, Multiple
   RTs, and Monitor Terminal)

-- Real-time data modification (BC, RT)

-- Full error injection and detection

-- Support for multiple MIL-STD-1553 channels & Single and
   Multifunction hardware

-- Support for Windows(R) 3.X and Windows 95

    When using GoldExpress software, users can independently define the MIL-STD-1553 data to be captured or displayed and control the manner in which event data is displayed. Specific, user-defined engineering units can be applied to each data value, attaching immediate meaning to output data. Captured data can be saved in real-time, and the user can insert Event Markers into the data stream. Once captured, data can be exported to an ASCII file, Microsoft(R) Access(R), or other database formats. Filter and Find (F&F) options are also available for post-processing saved data.
