    PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 3 -- The Philadelphia Stock Exchange
(PHLX) is pleased to announce that it will begin trading put and call options
on Amkor Technology, Inc. (option/stock symbol: QEL/AMKR) upon the opening of
business on Monday, August 10, 1998.
    Amkor Technology, Inc. provides semiconductor packaging and test services.
The company offers an integrated set of packaging and test services including
integrated circuit package design, leadframe and substrate design, integrated
circuit package assembly, final testing, burn-in, reliability testing, and
thermal and electrical characterization.
