Savannah River Technologies Announces the Release of its Newest Tracking SoftwareAIKEN, S.C., Aug. 3 -- Savannah River Technologies, Inc. (SRT) (OTC Bulletin Board: SVHR), a technology leader in vehicle tracking systems, announces the release of its newest vehicle tracking software. SRT SIDEKICK Software, version 2.0, sold in conjunction with SRT's GPS recording hardware enables fleet managers to review vehicle trip data with the speed and ease of the 32-bit windows environment. Many new features have been added based on customer feedback including the ability to define and report on geographic regions of interest, called "hot spots." "The SRT SIDEKICK Software can tell you when, or if, a vehicle arrived at a customer location and if any unauthorized stops were made along the way," John Anderson, Director of Engineering. The SIDEKICK provides fleet owners and managers the ability to essentially travel with their vehicles, without actually being there. Similar to a "black box" in airplanes the unit automatically records date, time, location, direction of travel, speeds, stops and stop details. Information is recorded onto a PC card for uploading to a personal computer. THE SRT SIDEKICK Software provides summary information about a particular trip's activity including maximum speeds traveled, total miles traveled and total time on the road. By utilizing various switches and sensors, the unit can also record other vehicle functions such as the opening of doors or even seat occupancy. SRT is the exclusive manufacturer and distributor for the SIDEKICK. In addition to the exclusive license rights to the SIDEKICK, SRT holds the rights to the improvement patent as well as the rights to the SIDEKICK Software. SRT is a public company whose stock is traded under the symbol SVHR. Information concerning the availability of SRT stock may be obtained through Alpine Securities Corporation in Salt Lake City, Utah.
